A farmers market featuring fresh fruit and vegetables is part of the Edgar County Public Health Department’s Celebrate Families Event from now until 7 p.m. at Betty Jane’s Kitchen. Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois sponsored the farmers market booth staffed by Arminda Carreon, left, and Geraldo Mendoza, right, who brought the supplies from Chicago.
