Couple is married in Chicago


Richard Morgan Campbell and Lauren Claire Sunkel are now at home in Chicago following their morning wedding Feb. 11, at the Galleria Marchetti in Chicago.

The bride is the daughter of Steven and Christina Sunkel of Paris. The groom is the son of Sandy and Gini Campbell of Williamsburg, Va.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, and the Rev. Gini Campbell, the groom’s mother, presided for the ceremony. Katherine Sunkel Misicka served her sister as matron of honor. Bridesmaid was Courtney Kirsch Kopshever and bridesman was Nick Kirsch. Kayleigh Kirsch and Mya Kopshever served as flower girls.

Best man was the groom’s brother, Stephen. Best woman was his twin sister, Nancy Campbell. Anderson Campbell and Jonas Misicka were ringbearers.

A special surprise gift to the bride from her family was Stuart Metcalf, a family friend, singing “Love Changes Everything.”

The couple honeymooned in Hawaii. 

She is employed in resource management at RSM U.S., and he is a sports beat writer covering the Chicago Bears for the Chicago Tribune.
