Edgar County Shrine weekend begins
Edgar County Shrine Club members begin slicing the beef for the 64th annual Shriner BBQ Weekend.

The Edgar County Shrine Club is full swing for the 64th Shriners BBQ Weekend. A fun-filled weekend is planned with the following events.
Friday
- Vendors on the Fairgrounds
- 6 p.m. Truck and Tractor Pull
- $15 General Admission
- Kids 10 and under get in free
- 4 – 7 p.m. American Legion Fish Fry
Saturday
- 11 a.m. – until they run out Shrine BBQ (Drive thru only)
- 2 p.m. Shrine Parade (Starts and ends at the American Legion)
- 6 p.m. Demolition Derby
- $15 General Admission
- Kids 10 and under are free
Free admission to the fairgrounds all weekend.
