Mary Naomi Dickenson, 90, of Paris, passed away at 11:03 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017, at Paris Community Hospital. She retired in 1990 after many years as a bookkeeper for Paris Community Hospital, Houston & Associates and Paragraph’s, Inc.
A funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 27, at Templeton Funeral Home, with the Rev. Joseph Tomich officiating. Burial follows in Edgar Cemetery. Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Dickenson was born May 16, 1927, at Paris, the daughter of the late Henry Michael and Elva Cline Sidenbender. She married Philip H. Dickenson April 9, 1967, at Paris, and he survives.
She is also survived by one daughter, Denise Suzanne (Mark) Allanson; three grandchildren, Daniel, Elizabeth and Thomas Allanson, all of Paris; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Freda S. Foltz.
Mrs. Dickenson was a 1945 graduate of Paris High School. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church of Paris, the Antique Study Club and participated in the Edgar County Historical Society.
