Paris Police Chief Eric Brown confirms two Paris children went missing early in the week but were found after a search.
He was unable to provide much information since the incident did not result in an investigation and report.
Brown said the department received a transfer call from the Edgar County 911 dispatch center at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, reporting two children missing from an address on South Central Street. Officers did go to the address, and community residents aware of the situation started several unofficial searches.
The two missing female juveniles were delivered to the Paris Police Department at 10:43 p.m. July 30 by an adult female who told police personnel she found the girls on state Route 16.
