The Presbyterian Church of Paris is once again hosting a series of five Wednesday noon Lenten services in the sanctuary, located at 241 West Court St.
Each service is 30 minutes in length and includes musical selections from a local performer and a brief message from a local pastor. Dates this year are Feb. 24, March 3, 10, 17 and 24.
Unlike previous years, lunch will not be offered following the services.
Those who attend are to wear masks and to sit at a distance from others in the sanctuary.
Musicians performing this year include flutist Susan Hiddle, vocalists Jeanette and Kevin Levellie, Kristin Chittick and Paul Lynch and organist/pianist Susan Farris.
The pastors participating include Kevin Levellie of Nevins Christian Church, Jamie Kent of First Christian Church, Rodger Allen of the host church, Pablo Marty of First United Methodist Church and Troy Horne of Otterbein United Methodist Church.
The freewill offering supports the assistance fund of the Paris Ministerial Fellowship.
