MARSHALL – Kenneth B. Wilson, 86, of Dennison, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019, at Horizon Health, Paris. He was a retired carpenter and member of Carpenter’s Local #133.
A service honoring his life is 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at Pearce Funeral Home, with Pastors Bill and Tim Duke officiating. Burial is in the Forsythe Cemetery. Visitation is from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at the funeral home.
Mr. Wilson was born Aug. 12, 1932, in rural Clark County, the son of Loren A. Wilson and Frieda B. Burkhead Wilson. He married Gertrude Stickler July 19, 1952, at Ft. Collins, Colo., and she survives.
Also Surviving are his children, Trudy (Jerry) Arrasmith of Paris, Karen (Mike) Hutchens of Martinsville, Diane (Terry) O’Neal of Pampa, Texas, Dale Wilson and companion Michelle Grable of Paris, Keith (Vonda) Wilson of Elbridge, Brad Wilson of Dennison and Mike (Jami) Wilson of Marshall; a brother, Richard (Sheila) Wilson of Oakland; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Lee Wilson; a brother, Arnold Wilson; and two sisters, Juanita Stone and Wilma Stone.
During his working life, Mr. Wilson had also farmed and had been a truck driver. He was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church and a former member of the Twilight Riders Saddle Club.
