Mamie Louise Boyer, 79, of Chrisman, passed away at 8:46 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2021, at Union Hospital, Terre Haute, Ind. She was a bank teller for Edgar County Bank and Trust.

 A funeral service is noon Saturday, April 10, at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home, with pastor Troy Warner officiating. Burial follows at Franklin Cemetery. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until the service time Saturday at the funeral home. In keeping with State of Illinois mandates due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, everyone attending the service must wear a mask while inside the funeral home. Everyone is welcome and all are asked to keep visits short so that all who wish to pay their respects may do so. 

Mrs. Boyer was born Feb. 2, 1942, in Paris, the daughter of the late John Craig and Opal Montgomery Craig. She married Richard Boyer on June 11, 1960, in Redmon, and he preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children, Vickie Sue (Mitchell Rhoads) Bolton of Paris and Peggy Jo (Gary) Nail of Chrisman; her siblings, Carrie Neal of Chrisman and Linda Brinkerhoff of Brownsburg, Ind.; her grandchildren, Richie Bolton, Chase Bolton, Amy (Thad) Crispin and Ashley (Brandon) Prouse; her great-grandchildren, Aubrey Crispin, Blakelee Vansickle, Owen Goble, Braxton Prouse, Ian Crispin and McKenna Thomason; and her brother-in-law Larry Boyer of Clarksville, Tenn.

She was preceded in death by her brother Bob Craig; and her sisters Dorothy Brown and Mary Balach.

Mrs. Boyer was also a member of the Chrisman Christian Church.
