Mamie L. Wheeler Hollinger Dart, 98, of Paris, passed away at 1:15 p.m. Monday, Sept. 7, 2020, at Twin Lakes Rehab & Health Care.

Entombment is private in the Edgar Mausoleum. A public memorial service will be announced at a later date. Templeton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Dart was born July 18, 1922, in Edgar County, the daughter of the late Alfred and Madge Hugg Wheeler. She married Harry A. Hollinger April 25, 1942, in Huntsville, Ala., where he was stationed during World War II. He preceded her in death Sept. 8, 1979. She later married Gerald Dart, who also preceded her in death.

Survivors include two children, Ron (Barbara) Hollinger of Lexington, Ky., and Linda Hollinger (Randy Rhoads) of Paris; six grandchildren, Stephanie Hollinger (Matt) Thompson, Jeff (Katy) Hollinger, Jonathan (Jenifer) Hollinger, John A. (Mary) Penning III, Jill Penning (Kevin) Darrah and Michelle Ochs (Bob) Pusateri; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brother, Victor and Conn Wheeler; and a sister, Betty Lowry.

Mrs. Dart was a member of First Christian Church of Paris. She had many hobbies and was well-known for her quilting. In addition, she crocheted, painted landscapes and mastered needlepoint. Most importantly, she was always ready and willing to help family and friends. She was present for every vocal/band concert, musical and softball game. She will be missed.
