Rosemary A. Brown, 76, of Paris, passed away at 12:36 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, 2020, in Paris Healthcare Center. She was a businesswoman and a farm owner.

A funeral service is 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Burial is in Edgar Cemetery. Visitation is from noon until the service time at the funeral home. In keeping with federal mandates due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, everyone is asked to be patient and abide by the state regulation of 25 visitors wearing masks allowed inside the funeral home. Everyone is welcome, but all are asked to keep visits short so that all who wish to pay their respects can do so.  

Mrs. Brown was born Oct. 21, 1943, at Tulsa, Okla., the daughter of the late Albert August and Evangeline Trabant Sager. She married Larry Allen Brown Jan. 15, 1983 at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Marshall, and he passed away Feb. 25, 2020.

She is survived by her four stepdaughters, Melissa Renee Brown, Jessica Rae Brown, Ann Marie Sanabria and Ceceilia Lynn Chedid, all of Phoenix, Ariz.; and sister-in-law, Nancy Foote of Paris.

She was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law, Howard Eugene Brown, Russell Atwood Brown, James Irving Brown, Paul Edward Brown and Alonzo Patty Brown Jr.; and sisters-in-law, Lelah Bernadine Alexander and Marian Theodosia Radcliff.

Mrs. Brown was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, the Poets Study Club of Terre Haute, Ind., the Indiana State Federation of Poetry Club and the National Federation of State Poetry Societies.
