The Paris Police Department is investigating an accidental shooting that occurred over the weekend.
Police Chief Terry Rogers said the department responded to the incident at approximately 4:24 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 30.
“This was an isolated incident. It was an accidental shooting,” said Rogers.
He added the incident remains under investigation and more information will be released after the investigation concludes.
