April 13, at 8:12 p.m., Nicole J. Boyce, 34, Beecher City, was arrested at 304 Chestnut and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol, domestic battery and endangering the life of a child. Boyce was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending a court appearance.

April 14, at 3:01 a.m., Jessica L. McCullough, 28, Terre Haute, Ind., was arrested at 15150 U.S.150 and charged with retail theft. McCullough was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending posting of bond.

April 14, at 3:01 a.m., Richard D. Vestal, 47, Terre Haute, Ind., was arrested on U.S. 150 at Laurel Lane and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Vestal was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending posting of bond. He was additionally issued a city ordinance violation 132.5-possession of cannabis and given a city court date in that matter.

April 14, at 3:55 a.m., Jason R. Ball, 40, 508 Shaw Ave., was arrested at 319 E. Union and charged with failure to register as a sex offender. Ball was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending a court appearance.

April 14, at 12:21 p.m., Douglas A. Cordell, 40, 608 W. Van Buren, was arrested at 418 W. Washington and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting a peace officer.

April 14, at 4:14 p.m., a two-vehicle accident with injury occurred at Jasper and High. The first vehicle involved was a bicycle operated by Thomas R. Martin, 55, 510 Douglas. The second vehicle was a 2005 Dodge Caravan driven by Nikkia M. Tucker, 27, Chrisman. Martin was transported to Horizon Health Paris Community Hospital by ambulance for treatment and was subsequently cited for disobeying a traffic control signal and released on a notice to appear in court. A passenger in the Tucker vehicle was Travis B. Golie, 36, Chrisman. Both vehicles sustained damages.
