Aug. 8, at 1:12 p.m., Kylee J. Beaven, 32, 412 Douglas St., was arrested at her residence and charged with obstructing a peace officer. Beaven was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending the posting of bond.

Aug. 8, at 1:13 p.m., Randy J. Bramlett, 52, Metcalf, was arrested at 607 Dill Street on an Edgar County failure to appear warrant. Bramlett was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending the posting of bond.

Aug. 8, at 9:06 p.m., Gage R, Means, 22, 434 E. Wood, was stopped at state Route 133 and Stratton Drive and charged with speeding (77 in a 55 mph zone). Means was released on a notice to appear in court.

Aug. 9, at 2:41 a.m., Evan J. Kispert, 20, 310 W. Jackson, was arrested at Shaw and Jasper and charged with possession of a controlled substance. Kispert was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending a court appearance.

Paris Fire Department

Aug. 2, at 1:21 p.m., the department was dispatched for a mutual aid call to assist the Black Diamond Fire Company at State Line Road and 1150th.

Aug. 2, at 4:27 p.m., the department was dispatched to High and Union for a vehicle and bicycle accident.

Aug. 2, at 8:09 p.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.

Aug. 3, at 6:16 a.m., the department was dispatched to 504 Milton for a house fire.

Aug. 4, at 10:46 a.m., the department was dispatched to 114 E. Monroe for a report of a downed power line. On scene, it was determined the line was a telephone cable.

Aug. 5, at 5:40 p.m., the department was dispatched for a smoke report in the 600 block of Hunt. The fire was located at 531 North Austin and extinguished. The resident was advised of the city burn ordinance.

Aug. 6, at 8:49 a.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.

Aug. 6, at 1:15 p.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.

Aug. 7, at 12:57 a.m. the department was dispatched to Court and Monterey for a report of a house on fire. Firefighters located a structure fire in the back of 312 East Court. The fire was extinguished and remains under investigation. The Oliver Station of the Paris Community Fire Protection District also responded to the call.

Aug. 7, at 2:59 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to the Etc. Shoppe, 141 East Court, to assist the Horizon Health ambulance.

Aug. 7, at 3:11 p.m., the department was dispatched to 700 Liberty for an illegal burn.

Aug. 8, at 8:32 a.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.

Aug. 8, at 11:48 a.m., the department was dispatched to 412 Douglas for a deck on fire.
