The Crestwood Board of Education accepted the resignation of literature teacher Amy McClain and girls basketball coach Missy Tingley at the monthly meeting Wednesday, March 8.
The board hired Michelle Duke, Jackie Siebenmorgon and Kelsey Majors as lead teachers for the 2023 – 2024 school year. M.C. Sweet was hired as summer maintenance help.
The board approved a new three-year contract with a 3% raise for Superintendent Danette Young as well as a 3% raise for Principal Meghan Damler.
Pre-K – K screening was held on Feb. 9 – 10 with a possibility of 48 students next school year.
The board approved the fuel bid with FS.
End-of-year dates were announced at the meeting with Crestwood eighth-grade promotion 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 24.
