HH extends hours for physicals

Posted

With the new school year fast approaching, Horizon Health is offering extended hours for sports and school physicals.

Extended hours are 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, and Thursday, July 29, at the Paris Clinic.

Sports physicals are $25 cash. Insurance will not be billed for these physicals, but half the cost is donated back to the booster club of the athlete’s choice. The designation will be done at the time of check-in.

Insurance will be billed for school/annual physicals. Insurance cards and immunization records are required at the time of the physical.

The first dose of the Pfizer vaccine is available to children age 12 and older. There is no cost. Vaccine-only appointments can be made, or the vaccine can be administered as part of a physical.

To schedule an extended-hours physical, call the Paris Clinic at 217-465-8411. Students under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Both school and sports physicals are also available at other Horizon Health clinics during regular business hours. EZ Care locations are the only facilities providing sports physicals, but not school physicals, without a required appointment.
