Lady Cardinals fall to Uni High

The Chrisman Lady Cardinals have played four times taking home one win.

Uni High 41, Chrisman 29

URBANA — The Cardinals traveled to Urbana Thursday, Jan. 19, to face Urbana University. Chrisman fell to the Urbana 41 – 29.

Chrisman had eight Lady Cardinals score in the game but could not put anything together against Uni High. Taylor Jones and Whitnie Haton led the team in scoring with 6 points each. McKenzie Mitchell and Adaleyn Miller finished with 5 points apiece while Bailey Presslor finished with 3 points in the loss. Olivia Radke finished out the scoring with a bucket of her own.

Charleston 36, Chrisman 27

The Lady Cardinals traveled to Charleston Monday, Jan.6, to take on the Trojans. Chrisman fell in a close game 36 – 27.

The Lady Cardinals had four players score against Charleston. Leading the way McKenzie Mitchell who finished the game with 12 points. Olivia Radke was right on her heels adding 11 points of her own. Other players who scored were Bailey Presslor and Addison Phipps who both scored a bucket a piece.

Chrisman, who is 4 – 18 on the season, is back in action today in conference play at Milford.

Chrisman 40, Schlarman 30

The Chrisman Cardinals offense found a rhythm against the Hilltoppers while the defense played just as strong in the victory over Danville 40-30.

Leading the offense for Chrisman was junior Olivia Radke who finished the game with 16 points. Taylor Jones got on the board with 7 points of her own. Other Cardinals adding to the win were McKenzie Mitchell and Addison Phipps with 4 points each, Whitnie Haton and Jaidyn Alexander with 3 points each, Adaleyn Miller with 2 points and Bailey Presslor 1 point.

On the opposite side McKenzie Mitchell stepped up her defensive game against Schlarman with 8 boards and 5 huge blocked shots. Jaidyn Alexander added 4 steals for the Cardinals defense.

Watseka 48, Chrisman 15

The Lady Cardinals were not able to get anything going against Watseka who defeated Chrisman 48 – 15.

Chrisman had five players get on the scoreboard in the loss.

Olivia Radke led the way finishing the game with 9 points.

Taylor Jones, McKenzie Mitchell and Adaleyn Miller all added a bucket a piece.
