CHRISMAN — After the first three games the Chrisman Lady Cardinals are off to a 2-1 start defeating Hutsonville/Palestine and Martinsville and dropping one to Marshall.

Lady Cardinals off to a 2-1 season start

CHRISMAN — After the first three games the Chrisman Lady Cardinals are off to a 2-1 start defeating Hutsonville/Palestine and Martinsville and dropping one to Marshall.

Chrisman 42, PalHut 40 (OT)

Chrisman pulled out a win in overtime against PalHut defeating them by the final score of 42- 40.

Leading the charge for Chrisman was A. Brinkley with a double double, scoring 15 points and pulling down 12 boards. M. Mitchell added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the victory. J. Alexander and O. Radke both scored 6 points while A. Phipps added 3 points.

The Chrisman Cardinals will be back in action at the Neoga Thanksgiving Tournament on Friday, Nov. 25, and Saturday, Nov. 26. They return to regular season play against Georgetown Tuesday, Nov. 29.

Marshall 55, Chrisman 8

The Marshall Lions roared into Beals Gym at Chrisman Tuesday, Nov. 15, defeating the Lady Cardinals of Chrisman 55 – 8.

The Cardinals offense could not get it going scoring 8 points. A. Brinkley led the scoring with 4 points. Brinkley was followed by T. Jones who had 3 points and A. Phipps who added a free throw.

Chrisman 38, Martinsville 34

The Chrisman Lady Cardinals opened their basketball season against Martinsville pulling out the victory 39 – 34.

Leading the way for the Cardinals was A. Brinkley who finished the night with 13 points. She was followed by A. Phipps with 9 points. J. Alexander added 2 buckets and 2 free throws for 6 points. W. Haton scored 5 points, M. Mitchell, 4 points, and T. jones added a free throw.
