Kay Ludington Rodgers, 77, of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 11:30 p.m. Monday, December 27, 2021, at Horizon Health Paris Community Hospital. She was retired after many years at the Paris Township Office.
She was born December 31, 1943, in Paris, the daughter of the late Woody and Eva Mae (Tucker) Ludington. She married Charles W. “Jackie” Rodgers on September 27, 1997. He preceded her in death April 25, 2015.
Survivors include two children, Jeff Ray and Tami (Ray) Klotz both of Paris; a brother, Earl Ludington of Palmetto, Florida; three sisters, Rett Smitley of Marshall, Illinois, and Sue Koutsoumpas and Donna Heelen both of Paris; three granddaughters, Cheyanne (Richard) Revell, Hannah (Michael) Pinnell, and Amanda Jernigan (Kyle Johnson) all of Paris; three great-grandchildren, Emma Revell, Oliver Pinnell, and Finley Johnson all of Paris; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Weber.
For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
At her request, no public services are planned. Interment will be private at a later date. Templeton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
