BENTON, Texas - Walburga Maria Cassady, 83, of Belton, Texas, and formerly of Paris, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at her residence. She was a retired waitress and homemaker.

BENTON, Texas - Walburga Maria Cassady, 83, of Belton, Texas, and formerly of Paris, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at her residence. She was a retired waitress and homemaker.

A celebration honoring her life is being planned for a later date.

Ms. Cassady was born June 6, 1936, in Bieber, Germany, the daughter of the late August and Elisabeth Koch, where she met and married her husband John Allen Cassady.

She is survived by her four children, Ronald Koch of Paris, France, Michael (Hope) Cassady of Belton, Texas, James Cassady of Belton, Texas, and Anthony (Julie) Cassady of Marlin, Texas, her brother, Bernhardt Koch of Bieber, Germany; and several grand and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Allen Cassady; son, a John Allen Cassady Jr.; and a grandson, Jacob Cassady.

After retirement her hobbies included reading, bingo, playing cards and spending time with family and friends.
