Marlin Rossiter

Marlin E. Rossiter, 87, of Paris, passed away at 11:40 pm Friday, Oct 15, 2021, at his home.

A memorial service is 1 p.m. today, Oct. 23, at the American Legion Dornblaser Post #203 in Georgetown, with the Rev. Andrew Dowden officiating. Inurnment in the Sandusky Cemetery, Westville, is at a later date. Robison Chapel, Catlin, is handling the arrangements. 

Mr. Rossiter was born Nov. 10, 1933, in Mitchell, Iowa, the son of Earl and Viola Hansen Rossiter. He married Sally Pate on Aug. 22, 1970, in Danville, and she survives. 

Also surviving are two stepsons, Troy (Penny) Pate of Georgetown and Scott Pate and Kristie Rogers of Beloit, Wis.; three daughters, Lucinda (Gale) Williams of Paris, Brenda (Bill) Roberts of Danville and Tamara (Ronny) Hemrich of Oakland; one special daughter-in-law, Shirley Pate; one brother, Richard (Sue) Rossiter of Ocean City, Md.; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Rita Snook, two brothers and one sister. 

Mr. Rossiter worked in watch and clock repair and owned the Tick Tock Shop for 50 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping and loved his family.
