Randy Dean Limes, 76, of Kansas, and formerly of Ottawa, passed away at 2:20 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2022, in the emergency room of Horizon Health Paris Community Hospital in Paris with his loving wife at his side. He was a retired farmer and truck driver.

Mr. Limes was born Oct. 31, 1945, in Paris, the son of the late Riley and Mildred M. Gilbert Limes. He was blessed to meet his beloved and loving wife, Sharon Kay Riggle Edwards, and they were joined in marriage on April 6, 2019, in Kansas. Although their marriage was not long, they both felt they had finally found the love of their lives. She took wonderful care of him and brought him great joy in his final years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Jack Dean Limes of Normal; and an extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, church family, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Diane Limes; a brother, Dale Limes; and two sisters, Helen Bland and Deloris Sloat.
Mr. Limes was a member of Pleasant Hill Christian Church of Kansas where he had served as an elder. His favorite thing to do was to sit on his front porch with his dear wife and enjoy the company of friends and neighbors who were passing by or stopping for a visit.
Memorial donations may be made to Pleasant Hill Christian Church.
