Nov. 22, at 3:53 a.m., Derrick K. Cooks, 20, Baton Rouge, La., was stopped at Gibson Drive and Main Street and charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Cooks was released on a notice to appear in court.

Nov. 22, at 11:20 a.m., Tracy L. Parker, 57, 1613 S. Central, was issued city ordinance violation -dogs at large. Parker was given a city court date.

Nov. 22, at 1:31 p.m., Raymond L. Carter, 25, 204 E. Van Buren, was stopped at state Route 1 and Gibson Drive and charged with speeding (71 in a 45 mph zone), operating an uninsured motor vehicle and no valid registration. Carter was released on a notice to appear in court.

Nov. 22, at 1:47 p.m., Michael D. Wins, 32, Baton Rouge, La., was stopped at Main and Gibson Drive and charged with operating an uninsured vehicle. Wins was released on a notice to appear in court.
Nov. 22, at 11:10 p.m., David L. Livingston, 47, 215 W. Edgar, was stopped at High and Wood and charged with operating an uninsured vehicle, no valid drivers license, suspended registration and unlawful use of registration. Livingston was released on a notice to appear in court.

Nov. 23, at 12:05 a.m., Davin C. Donnelly, 28, West Terre Haute, Ind., was stopped at Court and Jasper and charged with speeding. Donnelly was released on a promise to comply.

Nov. 23, at 3:18 a.m., Braden M. Kalber, 23, Clinton, Ind., was stopped at Clinton Road and Eads Avenue and charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Kalber was released on a notice to appear in court.

Nov. 18, 1:34 p.m., Paris Fire was dispatched to Zimmerly St. for an EMS assist.

Nov. 18, 3:49 p.m., Paris Fire was dispatched to NAL for a two-vehicle accident. On scene Paris Fire checked the vehicles for hazards and stood by while waiting on a wrecker service.

Nov. 18, 7:40 p.m., Paris Fire was dispatched to W. Elizabeth St. for an EMS assist.

Nov. 20, 3:50 a.m., Paris Fire was dispatched to E. Court St. for an EMS assist.

Nov. 20, 9:42 a.m., Paris Fire was dispatched to Broom St. for an EMS assist.

Nov. 20, 6:14 p.m. Paris Fire was dispatched to E. Terre haute Rd. for a single vehicle accident. On scene Paris Fire stood by while waiting on a wrecker service.

Nov. 21, 12:07 a.m., Paris Fire was dispatched to 1208 S. Main St. for a house on fire. On scene Paris Fire, with assistance from Vermilion and Oliver Fire, put the fire out. The cause is under investigation by the Illinois State Fire Marshall’s office.

Nov. 21, 9:42 a.m., Paris Fire was dispatched to Wabash St. for an EMS assist.

Nov. 21, 1:53 p.m., Paris Fire was dispatched to 2121 S. Main St. for a possible gas leak. On scene no problems were found.

Nov. 21, 2:11 p.m., Paris Fire was dispatched to E. Madison St. for an EMS assist.

Nov. 21, 5:53 p.m., Paris Fire was dispatched to Michigan Ave. for an EMS assist.

Nov. 22, 3:05 a.m., Paris Fire was dispatched to Simonton Windows for an EMS assist.

Nov. 22, 12:23 p.m., Paris Fire was dispatched to one block east of the Grandview Fire Department for a tractor on fire outside a pole barn. On scene Paris, Grandview and Kansas Fire Departments put the fire out.

The public is reminded that all people arrested, or otherwise charged, are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
