Patricia Haase Stevens, 95, of Carrollton, Texas formerly of Paris, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024, at the home of her son Dennis Stevens.
There will be no funeral service. Ashes will be interned in the family plot at a later date.
Mrs. Stevens was born July 1, 1929, in Paris to Paul V Haase and Marabel Wade Haase. She married Richard A. Stevens on Sept. 13, 1950.
Survivors include three children David (Jeanine) Stevens, Dennis Sevens and Pamela (Karl) Mayer); four grandchildren Blake (Meredith) Stevens, Brandon Stevens, Justin Mayer and Jaycee Mayer and two great-grandchildren Alexander Stevens and Nora Stevens.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Paul V Haase Jr.
Mrs. Stevens graduated in 1950 from Indiana State University with a degree in nursing and practiced nursing for several years in the Paris area.
Girl Scouting was a passion of hers and was a leader for many years. She enjoyed toll painting and playing cards with different groups over the past 50 years. She loved to travel and in retirement, she felt very lucky to have visited Russia, China, Egypt, Ireland and the Panama Canal.
All her life she was focused on family and friends and the last few years were focused on her grandchildren.
