July 29, at 9:33 a.m., the department was dispatched to Lyon, 13571 Illinois Route 133 for an activated water flow alarm. On scene, it was determined city work in the area caused the alarm.
July 30, at 4:46 a.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.
July 30, at 10:10 a.m., the department was dispatched to Cargill for a water flow alarm. On scene, no problems were found.
July 30, at 4 p.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.
July 30, at 7:21 p.m., the department was dispatched to state Route 133 by the old radio station for a motorcycle/deer accident. Firefighters assisted with one patient.
Aug. 1, at 7:15 p.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.
Aug. 2, at 6:46 a.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.
Aug. 3, at 7:11 p.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.
Aug. 4, at 11:30 a.m., the department was dispatched to 14906 N 2225th Road for a tree that was across the road and smoking. The Vermilion Station of the Paris Community Fire Protection District also responded to the call. Firefighters stood by until the tree was removed from the road.
Aug. 4, at 6:40 p.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.
Aug. 4, at 8:22 p.m., the department responded to a call that came into the station about a possible illegal burn at 404 Shaw. On scene, firefighters discovered a small motor that was set on fire by a torch. The home’s occupant extinguished the fire.
The public is reminded that all people arrested, or otherwise charged, are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
