Sept. 3, at 12:14 p.m., a two-vehicle accident with injury occurred at Main and Jasper. The first vehicle involved was a 2011 Harley-Davidson driven by Earnest W. Pennington, 54, 6021 Reynolds Way Drive. The second vehicle was a 1999 Oldsmobile driven by Justin Wesley, 19, 214 W. Van Buren. Both vehicles were damaged. No citations were issued.

Sept. 3, at 1:30 p.m., Kent E. Rose, 40, Metcalf, was stopped at 15150 Hwy. 150 and charged with unlawful display of registration. Rose was released on a notice to appear in court.

Sept. 3, at 7:52 p.m., Christopher L. Hollingsworth, 41, 614 Alexander was arrested at 1103 North Main Street and charged with retail theft. Hollingsworth was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending posting of bond.

Sept. 4, at 2:34 a.m., David D. Peterson, 56, 720 W. Crawford, was arrested at 304 Chestnut and charged with unlawful possession of weapon by a felon and unlawful restraint. Peterson was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending a court appearance.

Sept. 4, at 7:37 a.m., a two-vehicle, non-injury accident occurred at High and Jasper. The first vehicle involved was a 2008 Chevrolet driven by a 15-year-old juvenile. The second vehicle was a 2008 Dodge Caravan driven by Joseph Washburn, 55, Marshall. Damage occurred to both vehicles. The juvenile was charged at the scene with no valid drivers license, failure to yield and operating an uninsured motor vehicle and was released on a notice to appear in court. Lindsey Board, 35, rural Paris, was charged with permitting unauthorized person to drive. Board was released on a notice to appear in court.

Sept. 4, at 8:32 p.m., Dustin J. Minor, 27, 517 ½ N. Central, was arrested at 15150 U.S. Highway 150 and charged with obstruction of justice. Minor was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending a court appearance.

Sept. 4, at 8:32 p.m., Brandon M. Wills, 33, 517 ½ N. Central, was arrested at 15150 U.S. Highway 150 and charged with burglary. Wills was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending a court appearance.

Sept. 5, at 12 a.m., a two-vehicle, non-injury accident occurred at Main and Wood. The first vehicle involved was a pedacycle driven by Jeremy L. Sly, 44, 721 N. Central. The second vehicle was a 2008 Dodge Avenger driven by Susan L. Labaume, 44, rural Paris. Both vehicles were damaged. Sly was cited for disobeying a pedestrian control device and improper equipment. Sly was released on a notice to appear in court.

Sept. 5, at 8 p.m., Brittni E. Rios, 31, Paris, was arrested in the 100 block of East Court on an Edgar County warrant and additionally charged with resisting/obstructing a peace officer and possession of a hypodermic syringe. Rios was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending a court appearance.

Sept. 5, at 9:19 p.m., Scott L. Pine, 34, 431 W. Benton, was arrested at 526 NE Bayard on an Edgar County warrant. Pine was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending the posting of bond.

Sept. 6, at 3:59 p.m., Austin B. Winkler, 26, 312 St. Clair, was arrested at his residence and charged with violation of an order of protection and failure to register as a sex offender. Winkler was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending a court appearance.
