June 17, at 9:34 a.m., Garry M. Hendrick, 44, Chrisman, was arrested at Vance and Clark and charged with possession of 5-15 grams of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hendrick was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending a court appearance.
June 17, at 2:13 p.m., Heather S. Chandler, 46, 420 Chestnut, Apt. D4, was stopped at Jefferson and Court and charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle and defective windshield. Chandler was released on a notice to appear in court.
June 17, at 5:11 p.m., Haylee M. Felgenhauer, 23, Terre Haute, Ind., was stopped at Ann and Main and charged with speeding (52 in a 35 mph zone). Felgenhauer was released on a notice to appear in court.
June 18, at 9:58 p.m., Terry A. Besherse, 52, Mattoon, was stopped at Main and Kimble and charged with operating a vehicle while registration suspended. Besherse was released on a notice to appear in court.
June 18, at 10:51 p.m., Andrew S. Rozman, 27, 602 W. Madison, was arrested at 8992 North Terre Haute Road and charged with criminal trespass to real property. Rozman was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending a court appearance.
June 19, at 3:38 a.m. Travis L. Carty, 42, Rockville, Ind., was arrested at Jasper and Marshall on two Edgar County warrants. Carty was transported to the the Edgar Count Jail pending posting of bond.
The public is reminded that all people arrested, or otherwise charged, are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
