Nov. 18, at 12:59 p.m., Misty S. Elsberry, 56, 8313 N 1800th St., was stopped in the 300 block of East Wood and charged with speeding in a school zone (43/20). Elsberry was released on a notice to appear in court.

Nov. 18, at 8:36 p.m., Janice M. Watson, 52, 214 E. Monroe, was stopped at Central and Washington and charged with operating a vehicle with expired registration. Watson was released on a promise to comply.

Nov. 18, at 12:30 p.m., Dwayne A. Skinner, 30, Houma, La., was stopped at Main and Vandalia Way and charged with disobeying a traffic control device and driving while license suspended. Skinner was released on a notice to appear in court.

Nov. 18, at 11:01 p.m., Emily J. Dong, 22, Champaign, was stopped at Main and Court and charged with operating a vehicle with an expired registration. Dong was released on a promise to comply.

Nov. 19, at 8:35 p.m., Matthew L. Smith, 38, 6201 N. 2200th St., was arrested at the Cherry Point Trailer Park and charged with operating an uninsured vehicle, aggravated fleeing or attempt to elude, driving while license revoked, driving a vehicle with expired registration, no rear registration light, failure to use signal when required, disobeying stop sign, improper lane usage, reckless driving, possession of adult use cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of hypodermic needle, resisting/obstructing a peace officer, unlawful possession of cannabis and unlawful possession of weapon by a felon. Smith was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending a court appearance.

Nov. 20, at 2:03 a.m., Robert E. Trump, 39, 607 Cherry Point, Lot 26, was arrested at his residence and charged with attempted second degree murder and aggravated domestic battery. Trump was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending a court appearance.

Nov. 20, at 5:17 a.m., Robin L. Tribbet, 34, homeless, was arrested at 1409 Wabash and charged with criminal trespass to a residence and an Edgar County warrant. Tribbett was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending a court appearance.

Nov. 20, at 10:59 a.m., Jeremiah R. Mason, 313 St. Clair, was arrested in the 300 block of Elm on an Edgar County warrant. Mason was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending posting of bond.

Nov. 20, at 5:48 p.m., Dameon T. Bolton, 20, Kansas, was stopped at Jasper and High and charged with expired registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Bolton was released on a notice to appear in court.

Nov. 20, at 8:47 p.m., Latashia L. Cooks, 42, Baton Rouge, La., was stopped and Main and Blackburn and charged with no valid license. Cooks was released on a notice to appear in court.

Smith, 38, 6201 N. 2200th St., was arrested at the Cherry Point Trailer Park and charged with operating an uninsured vehicle, aggravated fleeing or attempt to elude, driving while license revoked, driving a vehicle with expired registration, no rear registration light, failure to use signal when required, disobeying stop sign, improper lane usage, reckless driving, possession of adult use cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of hypodermic needle, resisting/obstructing a peace officer, unlawful possession of cannabis and unlawful possession of weapon by a felon. Smith was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending a court appearance.

Nov. 20, at 9:22 p.m., Lance C. Broussard, 45, New Iberia, La., was arrested at 437 West Madison and charged with disorderly conduct, obstructing identification and criminal trespass to land. Broussard was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending the posting of bond.
