May 19, at 12:21 a.m., Jacob S. Lynch, 29, 607 Dill, was stopped at Dill and High and charged with driving while license revoked and improper use of registration. Lynch was released on a notice to appear in court.
May 19, at 12:41 a.m., Ty M. Keller, 28, 301 Chestnut, was arrested at his residence and charged with domestic battery. Keller was transported to the Edgar County Jail where he was held pending a court appearance.
May 19, at 9:07 a.m., Brad F. Deweese, 57, 804 N. Austin, was issued city ordinance citation 115.11-outdoor accumulation of junk and trash at 1613 South Central. Deweese was given a city court date.
May 19, at 7:04 p.m., a one-vehicle accident occurred at 122 E. Steidle Road. The vehicle involved was a 2020 BMW driven by Zakre R. Floyd, 19, rural Paris. The vehicle sustained damages. No citations were issued.
May 19, at 7:59 p.m., a one-vehicle, non-injury accident, occurred at 1210 North Main. The vehicle involved was a 2005 Chevrolet pickup driven by Jimmy L. Harper, 44, 116 E. Elliott. The vehicle sustained damages, and Harper was cited at the scene for equipment requirement violation and driving while license suspended. Harper was released on a notice to appear in court.
May 20, at 3:36 p.m., Shelly M. Entrican, 49, 409 E. Monroe, was arrested at 15150 U.S. Highway 150 and charged with retrial theft, possession of methamphetamine, possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Entrican was transported to the Edgar County Jail where she was held pending a court appearance.
May 20 at 7:20 p.m., Jared T. Ott, 21, Bethalto, was stopped at Main and Edgar and charged with expired registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Ott was released on a notice to appear in court.
May 20, at 10:36 p.m., Skender Halimi, 47, 222 N. High, was stopped at Main and Jasper and charged with suspended registration. Halima was released on a notice to appear in court.
May 21, at 9:50 a.m., Chase M. Hayworth, 31, 405 S. Central, was arrested at his residence and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a weapon by a felon. Hayworth was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending a court appearance.
May 21, at 7:44 p.m., a two-vehicle occurred at Court and Madison. The first vehicle involved was a 2010 Ford Fusion driven by Lindsey N. Marietta, 20, Champaign. The second vehicle was a 2023 Honda Civic driven by a 16-year-old juvenile. Damage occurred to both vehicles. No citations were issued.
The public is reminded those arrested, or otherwise charged, are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
