May 22, at 11:12 a.m., Jessica M. Mayo, 30, 607 Cherry Point, Lot 1, was stopped at Newton and Central and charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Mayo was released on a notice to appear in court.

May 22, at 11:28 a.m., Ricky L. Holder, 65, 1001 E. Wood, was stopped at Eads and Helen and charged with expired registration. Holder was released on a notice to appear in court.

May 22, at 11:54 a.m., Cory E. Ring, 34, 201 North St., was stopped at Water and Edgar and charged with no valid drivers license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Ring was released on a notice to appear in court.

May 22, at 12:07 p.m., Dayvon J. Daniels, 24, Akron, Ohio, was arrested at 721 East Court and charged with five counts of aggravated battery, criminal damage to government property, resisting/obstructing a peace officer and disarming a police officer. Daniels was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending a court appearance.

May 22, at 8:10 p.m., Crystal G. Watson, 38, Virginia Beach, Va.., was stopped at Central and Monroe and charged with operating an uninsured vehicle and operating a vehicle when insurance is suspended for no insurance.

May 22, at 8:29 p.m., John L. Grubb, 31, 116 Forrest, was arrested at his residence and charged with domestic battery. Grubb was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending the posting of bond.

May 22, at 9:11 p.m., Kyjuan L. Beville, 21, Terre Haute, Ind., was stopped at U.S. Hwy. 150 and 15150 E and charged with driving while license suspended. Beville was released on a notice to appear in court.

May 23, at 3:17 a.m., Crystal L. Parks, 22, Terre Haute, Ind., was stopped at Jasper and Shaw and charged with speeding (51 in a 35 mph zone) and improper passing crest curve, intersection, railroad crossing. Parks was released on a notice to appear in court.

The public is reminded those arrested, or otherwise charged, are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
