Paris Police Department
May 12, at 8:24 a.m., Sahvanna Board, 25, 407 W. Garfield, was stopped at Adams and Michigan and charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle and no valid registration. Board was released on a notice to appear in court.
May 12, at 9 a.m., Joseph M. Harris, 21, 419 W. Elizabeth, was issued city ordinance citation 115.11 for outdoor accumulation of junk and trash at 419 West Elizabeth. Harris was given a city court date.
May 12, at 9:40 a.m., Stanley J. Acklin, 65, 704 E. Edgar, was issued city ordinance citation 93.76 for tall weeds and tall grass at 134 East Washington. Acklin was given a city court date.
Edgar County Sheriff
May 11, Austin M. Fulford, Jeffersonville, Ind., was arrested for possession of stolen motor vehicle. Fulford was transported to the Edgar County Jail and held pending a bond hearing.

May 6, at 7:22 a.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.
May 6, at 7:38 a.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.
May 6, at 4:27 p.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.
May 6, at 6:41 p.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.
May 7, at 12:49 p.m., the department was dispatched to 87 Illinois Highway 1 for a two-vehicle accident. Firefighters assisted EMS with one patient.
May 7, at 3:40 p.m., the department was dispatched to Jasper Street for a two-vehicle accident. Firefighters assisted EMS with one patient and directed traffic.
May 8, at 9:23 a.m., the department was dispatched to 4188 N 2022nd for a vehicle accident with injuries. The call was canceled en route.
May 8, at 10:05 p.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.
May 9, at 4:40 p.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.
May 11, at 12:09 p.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.
May 11, at 2:53 p.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.
May 12, at 1:13 a.m., the department was dispatched to 112 East Washington for a reported fire in a bathroom closet. On scene, the fire was extinguished by the resident and no damage resulted. The fire remains under investigation.
May 12, at 11:28 a.m., the department was dispatched to EZ Care, 1 Phipps Lane, for an automatic alarm. On scene, maintenance was testing the system and no problems existed.
May 12, at 7:14 p.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.
The public is reminded that all people arrested, or otherwise charged, are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
