Paris Police Department

July 8, at 3:06 p.m., Angela D. Eslinger, 39, 719 Buena Vista, was arrested at 613 Vance and charged with disorderly conduct. Eslinger was released on a notice to appear in court.

July 8, at 3:45 p.m., Julie M. Ellington-Breese, 47, Martinsville, was stopped in the 400 block of West Washington and charged with no valid drivers license and no valid registration. Ellington-Breese was released on a notice to appear in court.

 

Paris Fire Department

July 2, at 2:31 p.m., the department was dispatched to state Route 1 and North Shore Drive for a two-car accident. Firefighters assisted with one patient and stood by until a tow service cleared the scene.

July 3, at 3 a.m., the department was dispatched to Cargill on South Jefferson Street for an automatic alarm. No problems were found on scene.

July 3, at 4:22 a.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.

July 3, at 5:24 p.m., the Grandview Station of the Paris Community Fire Protection District was dispatched to provide medical assistance.

July 3, at 7:53 p.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.

July 3, at 9:53 p.m., the department was dispatched to East Blackburn for a tree that was set on fire by fireworks.

July 4, at 10:09 a.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.

July 4, at 8:07 p.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.

July 6, at 4:38 p.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.

July 6, at 10:02 p.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.

July 7, at 2:34 p.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.

July 7, at 10:47 a.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.

July 7, at 4:56 p.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.

July 7, at 6:08 p.m., the department was dispatched to a location near the state Route 133 and state Route 16 intersection for a recreational vehicle burning on the side of the road. Upon arrival at a location in front of the former Septimus plant, the vehicle was fully involved, and the fire was extinguished.

July 8, at 8:09 a.m., the Grandview Station of the Paris Community Fire Protection District was dispatched to provide medical assistance.

July 9, at 1:45 a.m., the department was dispatched to North American Lighting for an automatic alarm. On scene, it was discovered the alarm was triggered by a forklift hitting a riser and shutting down the system.
