Sept. 16, at 10:08 a.m., Jacob S. Lynch, 27, 607 Dill, was arrested in the 400 block of North High on an Edgar County Failure to Appear warrant. Lynch was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending posting of bond. 

Sept. 16, at 11:10 a.m., Kayla L. Peterson, 31, 413 W. Madison, was arrested at 409 North Central and charged with domestic battery, resisting/obstructing a peace officer and criminal damage to property. Peterson was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending a court appearance.

Sept. 16, at 9:24 p.m., Arthur B. Lewis, 44, 11334 Blackhawk Dr., was stopped at Central and Elizabeth and cited for expired registration and failure to transfer registration. Lewis was released on a notice to appear in court.

Paris Fire Department

Sept. 13, at 7:38 a.m., the department was dispatched to East Crawford for a two-vehicle accident.

Sept. 13, at 1:19 p.m., the Vermilion Station of the Paris Community Fire Protection District was dispatched to provide medical assistance.

Sept. 13, at 7:27 p.m., the Vermilion Station of the Paris Community Fire Protection District was dispatched to provide medical assistance.

Sept. 14, at 8:12 a.m., the Vermilion Station of the Paris Community Fire Protection District was dispatched to provide medical assistance.

Sept. 14, at 9:09 a.m., the department was dispatched to Wood and High for a two-vehicle accident.

Sept. 14, at 9:40 a.m., the department was dispatched to 19020 E 125th Road for an abandoned truck that was on fire. The Oliver Station of the Paris Community Fire Protection District and the Edgar County Sheriff’s Department were also dispatched for the incident.

Sept. 14, at 6:42 p.m., the department was dispatched to South Eads for a reported transformer fire. Firefighters contacted Ameren and turned the scene over to them for repairs.

Sept. 14, at 7:06 p.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.

Sept. 15, at 2:45 p.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.

Sept. 15, at 4:11 p.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.

Sept. 15, at 5:26 p.m., the Vermilion Station of the Paris Community Fire Protection District was dispatched to provide medical assistance.

Sept. 16, at 3:10 a.m., the department and the Vermilion Station of the Paris Community Fire Protection District were dispatched to a location on U.S. Route 150 for a two-vehicle accident. The call was canceled en route because dispatch was given a wrong address.

Sept. 16, at 3:10 a.m., the department and the Vermilion Station of the Paris Community Fire Protection District were dispatched to the Lower Terre Haute Road, just past Hoof and Paw, for a two-vehicle accident with one of the vehicles on fire.

Sept. 16, at 7:14 a.m., the department was dispatched to West Washington for a possible structure fire. On scene, firefighters found a smoking wood burning stove in the garage.

Sept. 16, at 2:48 p.m., the Vermilion Station of the Paris Community Fire Protection District was dispatched to provide medical assistance.
