Paris Police Department
May 17, at 7:21 a.m., Jacqueline R. Russell, 33, Paris, was arrested at Central and Wood on an Edgar County warrant. Russell was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending posting of bond.
May 17, at 11:38 a.m., Austin T. Coombes, 38, 723 N. Central, was arrested in the 100 block of East Court and charged with driving while license revoked, possession of methamphetamine, possession of hypodermic syringe and possession of drug paraphernalia. Coombes was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending posting of bond.
May 17, at 2:47 p.m., Cayden S. Petticrew, 22, 1216 N. Main, was stopped at Court and Eads and charged with speeding (62 in a 30 mph zone). Petticrew was released on a notice to appear in court.
May 17, at 4:10 p.m., Ashley E. Swanson, 30, 723 N. Central, was issued city ordinance citation-dog bite/quarantine. Swanson was given a city court date.
May 17, at 5:11 p.m., Dawson T. Watson, 21, 10777 N 1545th St., was stopped at Main and Edgar and charged with speeding (60 in a 35 mph zone) Watson was released on a notice to appear in court.
May 17, at 7:20 p.m., Charles P. Daughtery, 612 W. Monroe, was stopped at Central and Blackburn and charged with operating uninsured vehicle. Daugherty was released on a notice to appear in court.
May 17, at 8 p.m., Ronald D. Brown, 47, 225 Andrew, was arrested at his residence on an Edgar County warrant. Brown was transported to the Edgar County Jail pending posting of bond.
May 18, at 7 a.m., Hilary E. Bodle, 30, Hindsboro, was stopped at Shaw and Jasper and charged with expired registration. Bodle was released on a notice to appear in court.
May 18, at 8:54 a.m., Christa R. Livingston, 50, 525 N. High, was stopped at 300 South Main and charged with operating an uninsured vehicle and expired registration. Livingston was released on a notice to appear in court.
May 18, at 11:28 a.m., Aubade F. Lawson, 17, 3022 Berry St., was stopped at Wood and Main and charged with unlawful use of electronic device. Lawson was released on a notice to appear in court.
May 18, at 5:37 p.m., Raymond L. Carter, no age provided, 204 E. Van Buren, was arrested at 605 East Jasper and charged with aggravated battery and reckless conduct. Carter was transported to the Edgar Count Jail pending a court appearance.
May 18, at 10:42 p.m., Jessica N. Peters, no age provided, 407 W. Garfield, was stopped at High and Edgar and charged with operating an uninsured vehicle. Peters was released on a notice to appear in court.
Paris Fire Department
May 12, at 8:38 a.m., the department was dispatched to Jasper and Court for a one-vehicle accident. Firefighters checked the vehicle for hazards.
May 12, at 9:33 a.m., the department was dispatched to Lyons for an activated alarm. The alarm was triggered by a broken sprinkler head.
May 12, at 10:51 a.m., the department was dispatched to 917 West Crawford for an activated alarm. No problems were found.
May 12, at 11:30 a.m., the department was dispatched with the Oliver Station of the Paris Community Fire Protection to 16916 Hill Road for an odor investigation. No problems were found.
May 12, at 5:59 p.m., the department was dispatched to Central and Court of a two-vehicle accident. Firefighters were released from the scene by the Paris Police Department.
May 12, at 6:36 p.m., the department was dispatched with the Vermilion Station of the Paris Community Fire Protection District at U.S. 150 and 1900 East for a one-vehicle accident. No additional information was available.
May 13, at 8:24 p.m., the department was dispatched to 319 Boydston for a report of a bed on fire and the house filled with smoke. On scene, firefighters found a smoldering mattress, which they removed.
May 14, at 9:13 a.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.
May 14, at 9:48 a.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.
May 15, at 6:29 a.m., the department was dispatched to East Court and Sulpher Springs Road for a two-vehicle accident with injuries. One patient was transported from the scene.
May 15, at 5:16 p.m., the department was dispatched to 19516 East Terre Haute Road for an activated smoke detector. On scene, it was determined burned food tripped the detector.
May 15, at 7:04 p.m., the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.
