Two-vehicle crash causes multiple injuries north of Chrisman

WOODYARD – A two-vehicle accident on the northern edge of Edgar County resulted in multiple injuries on Wednesday, July 10.

The Chrisman Fire Department, Neal EMS and Horizon Health responded to reports of a two-vehicle accident north of Chrisman, just south of the intersection of State Route 1 and East 2700th Road. 

Dispatchers revealed the crash caused one of the vehicles to roll over and resulted in multiple injuries. Two Air Evac helicopters were paged soon after first responders arrived.

The condition of the vehicle occupants is unknown at this time.

UPDATE – July 10, 4:37 p.m.

EMS personnel reported that two patients being transported to Air Evac units are stable.
