What’s your name? Your grade? Where do you attend school?

Brody Stults, 8th grade,  Crestwood School

 

What is(are) your favorite subject(s)? What draws you to that subject?

Technology. In technology class I enjoy coding and making the robots.

 

What extracurricular activities are you involved in (clubs, sports, volunteer efforts)? Why?

Scholastic bowl, I like testing my knowledge and solving problems in the competitions.

 

What is your dream job?

My dream job is being a computer programmer and working on a game that is successful.              

 

What is your favorite snack food?

When I snack after school, my favorite snack food is Goldfish because they taste good and are light enough that they don’t leave me full right before dinner.

 

Dream vacation spot?

My dream vacation spot would be a secluded place in a forest; my dream vacation spot is this because I prefer spending most of my time alone.

 

What is a piece of media (book, movie, TV show, video game) you think everyone should experience?

One game I think everyone should experience is called Far Cry Five, I think this because it shows the harmfulness of drugs in the form of a cult formed around drugs.

 

What is your favorite memory from this school year so far?

My favorite memory from this school year was going to eighth grade sectionals. The game was nerve racking but enjoyable.

 

Who is a teacher, staff member, or coach who has made a positive impact on you? How did they do it?

A staff member who made a positive impact on me was my teacher Mrs. St.Clair. While I was in her class she helped me be more creative in my projects.

 

What is your advice to younger students?

People will be bullies, but most of the time, they are just making up for their own insecurities. I would give this advice to younger students because I have seen a decent amount of bullying in just my jr. high year.

 

What does your family look like? Do you have any siblings?

My mom and dad are married and live together, I also have a younger sister who lives with me.

 

Do you have any pets? What is your favorite type of pet?

I have three dogs and two cats that live with me. My favorite type of pets are calm cats because they don’t need constant attention and are great snuggle buddies.

 

If you can accomplish anything in your life, what would it be?

If I could accomplish anything, I would want to become a billionaire. I picked this goal because, in my opinion, you can do almost anything if you have enough money for it.

 

What’s your favorite restaurant?

 My favorite restaurant is San Marcos; this is a Mexican restaurant that in my opinion, serves delicious Fajitas.

 

If you could go to lunch with anyone, from any part of history, who would it be and why?

If I could go to lunch with anyone I would go to lunch with Albert Einstein. I would do this because Albert Einstein was a brilliant mind that I believe could help today’s society become better.

 

What are your goals for 2024?

My goal is to learn a new type of coding language to help me in my hopeful, future endeavors.

 

What do you think is the biggest problem facing the world? Why?

I think the biggest problem facing the world is people’s greed. Having ambition is a good thing but when it turns into greed, a person stops caring about whether what they are doing is positive or negative.

 

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I have ever received is “Things can always get worse.” I got this advice from a movie, but it still had a big impact on me.
