What’s your name? Your grade? Where do you attend school?

Isabella Chandle, 8th grade, Crestwood.

What is(are) your favorite subject(s)? What draws you to that subject?

Science, There are so many cool and interesting things to learn about.

What extracurricular activities are you involved in (clubs, sports, volunteer efforts)? Why?

Chorus-drama, band and I am involved in D.O.T/ Diggers of Truth (My church and I teach the kids the bible, and we take them to different places in Illinois and Indiana to quiz on it with different churches.

What is your dream job?

My dream job is to be a criminal lawyer because there are a lot of bad people hurting good people, and I want to put away those bad and help the good people.

What is your favorite snack food?

My favorite snack is carrots and strawberries.

Dream vacation spot?

Paris, France because I want to see the Eiffel Tower.

What is a piece of media (book, movie, TV show, video game) you think everyone should experience?

Interstellar

What is your favorite memory from this school year so far?

So far, my favorite memory is meeting my little brother.

Who is a teacher, staff member, or coach who has made a positive impact on you? How did they do it?

Mrs. Agnes Laughlin because she is someone whom I can trust to talk about anything, and if I have ever needed help she is there.

What is your advice to younger students?

My advise is to not let the negative things about life outweigh the good. Make life fun!

What does your family look like? Do you have any siblings?

I live with my aunt and uncle and have three siblings. Jacoba Harcar, Kaiden Travelstead, and Tristan.

Do you have any pets? What is your favorite type of pet?

I have two dogs: Casey and Pumpkin and a cat Lucy.
My favorite pet is cats.

If you can accomplish anything in your life, what would it be?

Having a healthy and stable family along with a good job is important to me.

What’s your favorite restaurant?

My favorite restaurant is San Marcos Mexican restaurant.

If you could go to lunch with anyone, from any part of history, who would it be and why?

Marie Curie because she accomplished many things, and her story is an interesting topic.

What are your goals for 2024?

Good grades and to be kind to others even when they aren’t kind to me are goals I hope to achieve.

What do you think is the biggest problem facing the world? Why?

Human rights violations because anyone should have rights to live how they want no matter their gender, race, skin color, religious beliefs, wealth and many more.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

Just because you can’t do something in the present doesn’t mean you can’t in the future.
