What’s your name? Your grade? Where do you attend school?

Olivia Radke, senior, Chrisman High School

What is(are) your favorite subject(s)? What draws you to that subject?

Math, I enjoy solving problems that have definite answers. I have always liked the subject more than others.

What extracurricular activities are you involved in (clubs, sports, volunteer efforts)? Why?

FFA - President, National Honor Society - Vice President, Student Council, STEM, Girls basketball.

I enjoy being heavily involved in school activities to stay busy. I also feel it’s important to be a part of as much as possible to keep it going in a small school.

I feel I learn important responsibilities that I will use a lot in life as well. I love getting to participate in so many activities and have fun within them!

What is your dream job?

Probably a vet or something with animals

What is your favorite snack food?

Chips or something salty

Dream vacation spot?

Greece

What is a piece of media (book, movie, TV show, video game) you think everyone should experience?

Secretariat the movie

What is your favorite memory from this school year so far?

My basketball senior night

Who is a teacher, staff member, or coach who has made a positive impact on you? How did they do it?

Mrs Mason, she is always so kind and caring with all her students. She always pushes you to work hard to do your best and prepare you for college. She is always supportive and helpful whenever you talk to her. I always look forward to seeing her since I don’t have her as a teacher this year.

What is your advice to younger students?

My advice would be to do what you want to do and not what everyone else around you is doing. Don’t be scared to be different or not follow what others do.

What does your family look like? Do you have any siblings?

I have my dad, Chris Radke; mom and stepdad, Kim and JD James; step brother and step sister, Alexis and Tyler James

Do you have any pets? What is your favorite type of pet?

I have a dog named Luke. My favorite type of pet is probably a dog.

If you can accomplish anything in your life, what would it be?

I’m not really sure. Probably to just travel and see more parts of the world after making money in a successful career.

What’s your favorite restaurant?

Longhorn

If you could go to lunch with anyone, from any part of history, who would it be and why?

I’m not sure. I’m not a history person at all.

What are your goals for 2024?

My goals are to be more outgoing and try more new things as I start college and learn how to adjust. My main goal is to always do the things that make me the happiest.

What do you think is the biggest problem facing the world? Why?

Judgment from people. I think it is really hard sometimes to do what you actually want to do without feeling you’ll be judged. I think everyone judges everyone a lot more than they should so then their focus isn’t on themselves either. I think if everyone focused more on themselves instead of judging others, the world could be a lot happier place and people would be more outgoing or try more new things.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

I’ve received a lot of advice from family, teachers, and coaches, but overall it’s probably to just never give up and always work towards whatever goals you have set for yourself. Always stay positive even if something doesn’t go the way you wanted it to. Everything happens
