Illinois Arts Council to host Creative Projects Grant Workshop at Link Art Gallery July 1

PARIS —Artists, nonprofit organizations, community groups and anyone interested in learning about arts funding opportunities are invited to attend an upcoming Illinois Arts Council (IAC) Eastern Region Creative Projects Grant Workshop at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, at Link Art Gallery in Paris.

The free informational workshop will be led by Illinois Arts Council Program Director Susan Dickson and is designed for both current grant recipients and prospective applicants interested in applying for Creative Projects Grants.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and network with area grantees while learning more about the Illinois Arts Council and its available grant programs. The presentation will include an overview of the agency, information about the upcoming Creative Projects Grant application cycle, guidance on the application process and tips for submitting a successful proposal.

The workshop will also include a question-and-answer session, allowing participants to receive direct feedback and clarification about eligibility, funding opportunities and application requirements.

The event is open to artists, arts organizations, schools, municipalities, nonprofit organizations and other community groups interested in developing creative programming through state arts funding.
