Kansas CUSD3 waives all school fees for 2026–2027 academic year

Kansas Community Unit School District 3 (CUSD3) has announced that all school fees will be waived for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year.

This waiver applies to all standard academic fees, including sports participation and lab fees. The only exception to this policy is driver's education fees.

In addition to the fee waiver, Kansas CUSD3 has released the schedule for registration, orientations and open houses ahead of the new school year.

School Registration

•Dates: Aug. 3 to 7, 2026

•Time: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily

Jr./Sr. High Orientation (Grades 7–12)

All 7th through 12th-grade students and their parents are strongly encouraged to attend one of the following sessions:

•Session 1: Aug.13, 2026 | 5 to 6 p.m.

•Session 2: Aug. 14, 2026 | 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Elementary Open House

•Date: Aug. 14, 2026

•Time: 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
