CHRISMAN — A support group for families with special needs is organizing through the Chrisman United Methodist Church, 116 E. Monroe Avenue.
The first meeting is 5:30 p.m. April 13 and plans are to meet the second Thursday of each month.
Parents will have a short devotion and a time of sharing joys, thoughts, encouragement or frustrations. The children will have a short Bible lesson and a supervised play time.
Given the early start, dinner will be served, so the entire family is welcome. RSVP, or direct questions to Pastor Randy Shepard through call or text 309-213-4437 or email Randy.shepard622@gmail.com.
