Cynthia Ann “Cyndi” May, 61 of Paris, passed away at 1:53 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022, at Baptist Health Hospital, Paducah, Ky. She was a homemaker.

A graveside service is 2 p.m. Jan. 24, in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation is from noon until the service time Jan. 24, at Templeton Funeral Home

Mrs. May was born Jan. 28, 1960, in Brunswick, Maine, the daughter of Vernon Chapman and Terry Seaman Chapman Ward.

Survivors include her father Vernon Chapman of Virginia; four children, Amy (Roger) Bell of Paris, Matthew (Angela) May of Paris, Justin May of Paris and Roger Jackson of Casey; one brother, Chuck Chapman of Paris, Ky.; four sisters, Christie (Michael) Hornung of Spencer, Ind., and Cathleen Williams, Susan (Steven) Donahue and Ruth (David) Bishop, all of Indianapolis, Ind.; several grandchildren, including Ryan and Michael May, Misty May, Makayla Dill, Riley Dill, Collin Christian, Baileigh Bell and Tyler Powell; and several great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her mother; a sister, Connie Bennett; and a brother, Robbie Chapman.

Mrs. May was a life member of Disabled American Veterans Chapter 7 in Effingham, Illinois and was a member of American Legion Post 152 Auxiliary in Knightstown, Ind.
