CHRISMAN — Elizabeth Lee Malaise, 73, of Chrisman, passed away at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2020, in Carle Hospital, Urbana. She was a teller at Citizen’s National Bank in Paris and 1st National Bank in Chrisman.

A graveside service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, at Hoult Cemetery. Due to COVID-19, everyone is asked to wear a mask and comply with government regulations. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Malaise was born July 16, 1947, at Danville, the daughter of the late James and Virginia Kindred Vance. She married Robert E. Malaise Jr. on Feb. 14, 1971, at the Edgar Methodist Church. He passed away March 13, 2016.

She is survived by her daughter, Amy Sue (Scott) Allison of Avon, Ind.; her grandchildren, Macaylee Allison and Boedee Allison, both of Avon; and several cousins including Connie Sue Stultz of Chrisman.

Mrs. Malaise was a member of the Edgar Methodist Church and a loyal supporter of her grandchildren and their many activities.

Memorial donations may be made to the Chrisman Volunteer Fire Department.
