Leta Ann Ingram, 85, of Chrisman, passed away at 10:50 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, 2020, at Twin Lakes Rehab & Health Care. She was a retired bookkeeper.


A graveside service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, at Friends Chapel Cemetery, near Scottland, with Pastor Nina Dixon Tasney officiating. Burial follows. Templeton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.


Mrs. Ingram was born Aug. 19, 1935, at Scottland, the daughter of the late Carl and Gladys Porter Bolen. She married Walter Ray Ingram Sept. 11, 1955, at the Edgar County Courthouse. He preceded her in death May 19, 2019.

Survivors include a son, Dennis (Vicki) Ingram of Chrisman; a sister, Kay McConchie of Paris; a granddaughter, Samantha Kay Ingram of Chrisman; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Lee Bolen and Larry Dean Bolen; two sisters, Betty Rae Bolen and Lois Wood; and a daughter-in-law, Dianna Ingram.

Mrs. Ingram was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Rebekah Lodge.

Memorial donations may be made to the Chrisman Volunteer Fireman’s Association.
