Raymond A. Quinn, 81, of Chrisman, formerly of Marshall, trotted off to his last trail ride at 1:55 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 29, 2023, in Paris Healthcare Center, Paris. Mr. Quinn was retired from GTE
All services will be private with burial in the New Providence Cemetery, Edgar County. Pearce Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Quinn was born Oct. 9, 1941, at Paris, the son of the late Collett and Fern L. Landes Quinn.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Landes Quinn; and two brothers, Robert Quinn and Dean Quinn.
After retirement he mowed yards and cemeteries, did tilling work, drove trucks and was a paramedic with the Marshall Ambulance Service.
Mr. Quinn loved his horses and dogs.
He was known as Dr. Quinn Medicine in the Cowboy Shooting Word, CSAS and CMSA and was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Captain in the Civil Air Patrol.
Memorial doantions may be made to the Clark County Animal Shelter.
