Paris Rec Center launches revamped after-school program

The Paris Rec Center is excited to introduce the newly updated S.O.A.R. Program — short for School’s Out Adventure Recreation — launching Aug. 13.

Formerly known as the “School’s Out Program,” the refreshed initiative promises to offer students a dynamic and enriching after-school experience.

Designed to support working families and keep kids active and engaged, S.O.A.R. combines structured recreation, academic support and fun-filled activities in a safe and supervised environment.

The program includes:

Daily gym time to promote physical activity
Homework help and academic support.

Occasional off-site excursions,
And coming soon — POOL TIME.

Enrollment forms are now available at the Paris Rec Center.

Families are encouraged to register early, as space is limited.
In addition to regular after-school care, which begins at 2:45 p.m., the Rec Center will also offer Holiday Programs — full-day childcare options on select no-school days. A full list of Holiday Program dates will be released with the official flyer in the coming weeks.

Program Details:

The cost of the program begins at $35 per week for Rec Center members and $30 per week for each additional child. Non-members can utilize the service for $45 per week. Early dismissal options are also available.
