What’s your name? Your grade? Where do you attend school?
My name is Savannah Vaugh and I am in Seventh grade. I attend Chrisman-Scottland Junior High School.
What is(are) your favorite subject(s)? What draws you to that subject?
My favorite subjects are Reading and Science. I am drawn to my reading class because of the activities that we do and because Kirby is literally my 1st favorite (sorry Mr. Ruff!!). I am also drawn to science class because of all of the hands-on activities that we take part in and Mr. Ruff is really funny and he’s nice.
What extracurricular activities are you involved in (clubs, sports, volunteer efforts)? Why?
I am in Volleyball, Activities Club, Cheerleading, Band, FFA
What is your dream job?
My dream job is to become a Marine Biologist when I get older.
What is your favorite snack food?
My favorite snack food is anything.
Dream vacation spot?
Honolulu, Hawaii, San Pedro, Belize, or Yang Yang beach in South Korea
What is a piece of media (book, movie, TV show, video game) you think everyone should experience?
I think everyone should watch 21st Century Girl on Netlfix.
What is your favorite memory from this school year so far?
My favorite memory from this school year is being on the volleyball team and watching everyone improve!
Who is a teacher, staff member, or coach who has made a positive impact on you? How did they do it?
Ms. Honnold has had an impact on me and how I am in volleyball today. She has taught me to never give up even when that’s hard, and that you need to keep pushing until the whistle. She is a nice person and has also, I’m sure, taught everyone to preach kindness.
What is your advice to younger students?
Always listen to the teacher, and don’t give up when an assignment is hard. DO NOT give the teachers attitude.
What does your family look like? Do you have any siblings?
My family is made up of 4 people. My mom, younger brother, me and my dad. I have 5 brothers and 1 sister.
Do you have any pets? What is your favorite type of pet?
I only have one pet now due to my 2 guinea pigs passing. My dog is named Fannie, and she is my best friend.
If you can accomplish anything in your life, what would it be?
I’m not sure.
What’s your favorite restaurant?
My favorite restaurant is Cheddars, their Chicken and Rice is soo good!
If you could go to lunch with anyone, from any part of history, who would it be and why?
I would personally go to lunch with Michael Jackson, I have no idea why it just sounds fun.
What are your goals for 2024?
My goals are to keep eating healthy, and exercise, to make more friends, and to visit my Grandparents more.
What do you think is the biggest problem facing the world? Why?
I think one of the biggest problems would be online bullying. There is so much of that and you hear kids talk about it during school.

“Don’t listen to what people say about you, they’re just jealous.”
