On Tuesday, Aug. 27, the Edgar County Highway Department announced the reopening of a new structure and roadway on 650th Road in Grandview Township from 1025th Street to 1050th Street. The structure and roadway are open with no restrictions.
The same day, the department also announced an emergency structure closure on 1050th Street in Edgar Township. This structure will be closed indefinitely and alternate routes will be required. Roadway maintenance on Dudley Road (County Highway 20) from 1000th Road to Ill. 133 is also planned. The maintenance will require a roadway closure.
Maintenance will occur starting on Tuesday, Sept. 2, and is expected to last until Friday, Sept. 5. All work is weather-dependent, and alternate routes will be required.
