Paris Police Department
On June 24, at 8:52 a.m. Jacob W. Gosnell, 36, of Paris, was arrested for Assault. He was taken to Edgar County Jail, issued a notice to appear and was released pending court appearance.
On June 24, at 8:49 p.m., Mark R. Abrell, 71, of Terre Haute Ind., was arrested for Retail Theft. Abrell was issued a Notice to Appear and released on his own custody.
On June 30, at 11:45 p.m. Caleb R. Means, 30 of Chrisman, was arrested for Resisting/Obstructing a Peace Officer Firefight and Disorderly Conduct. Means was transported to the Edgar County Jail.
The public is reminded that all people arrested or otherwise charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
