Unofficial Fourth of July Parade

The fifth annual “Unofficial Fourth of July Parade” is July 4.

All vehicles including tractors, side-by-sides, four-wheelers, motorcycles, etc. are welcome. Participants must display an American flag.

The parade begins at 11 a.m. in front of the Johnson home, 710 W. Jasper, entries can begin assembling at 10:30 a.m. The parade takes the following route, Jasper St. to Jefferson, left to Cherry Point, left to Blackburn, right to Main St., left to Twin Lakes Park, left around the park, right back on Main St., left on Steidl Rd. to High St., right through Brookstone parking lot, continue south on High St. to Union St., left to Clinton Rd., left to Allenwood, right to Wood St., right to Eads, left to Highrise parking lot, left through High rise, left on High St. to Jasper before returning to its to starting point.

No other activities are planned.
