The Presbyterian Church of Paris, 241 W. Court St., continues a tradition begun in 1994 of hosting a series of noon Lenten worship services for five consecutive Wednesdays, beginning March 1 and concluding March 29. The public is invited to attend each of the unique services.
A favorite feature of the 30-minute worship time each week is the uplifting music from a local vocalist or instrumentalist. Participants will also hear a five-minute message focusing on one aspect of Lent given by a local pastor.
The intent of these brief times of worship is to create an atmosphere of reflection and quiet contemplation during the season of Lent.
Please call the church office at 217-465-5118 for more information.
